Our goal is to provide a diverse range of age-appropriate activities that ignite their cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.

In the Curious Tiny Tots Classroom, we wholeheartedly embrace the natural curiosity of these young explorers. Our dedicated teachers expertly guide our curious, tiny tots through each developmental milestone, ensuring their journey is filled with excitement, growth, and enriching early learning experiences that lay the foundation for future achievement. 

At LBA, our curriculum encompasses a diverse range of activities, including art, music, science, math, and outdoor play, all designed to engage and challenge children. We proudly adhere to the Experience Early Learning Curriculum, a research-based program that aligns with Pennsylvania's early learning standards and is endorsed by NAEYC. Trusted and valued by educators for over 30 years, this curriculum empowers our teachers to customize lessons to meet the unique needs of each child in the classroom. Our daily learning activities seamlessly integrate key developmental domains, including social-emotional, physical, cognitive, adaptive, and language skills. This comprehensive approach not only fosters growth but also strengthens foundational knowledge, nurturing holistic development in every child.

Educational Activities are designed to be interactive, engaging, and enjoyable,

providing a balance of challenge and fun. These activities not only promote active participation but also inspire children to be fully immersed in the learning process.

Circle time initiates the class! During this special time, teachers warmly greet each child by name, introduce the day's theme, and engage in group activities. Circle time plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of comfort among children in their surroundings and with their peers.

It serves as a platform for promoting attentiveness, turn-taking, and provides an opportunity for children to practice and enhance their communication and social skills.

Our curious Tiny Tots will explore a variety of interactive learning centers, including a library, music corner, sensory area, science station, art zone, blocks, and dramatic play. These centers are designed to provide engaging and educational experiences for one-year-olds, fostering their cognitive, physical, and social development. Each center offers a range of age-appropriate activities and play areas that promote exploration, sensory stimulation, and early learning skills. Safety is our top priority, with learning centers featuring soft padding, rounded edges, and age-appropriate materials. Our dedicated Learning Beyond Academy teachers supervise and guide children throughout their play experiences, ensuring a secure and nurturing environment.  

LBA proudly features a versatile multipurpose room designed to enhance our enriching programs, where each age group enjoys designated days filled with exciting activities tailored just for them. This dedicated space allows us to offer a variety of engaging experiences, ensuring that every child can explore their interests in a supportive environment. Each enrichment activity is thoughtfully scheduled so that every child can dive into their engaging activities with friends. This structured approach not only fosters a sense of community but also ensures that learning and fun go hand in hand, creating unforgettable memories for all!

Get active ... Platoon Toddler is a delightful fitness class specially crafted for toddlers aged 1 to 2 years old. This class is designed to introduce children to the joy of movement and develop their gross motor skills in a playful setting. The class begins with a dynamic warm-up that incorporates music and simple stretches to get those little bodies moving. The main activities focus on age-appropriate tumbling exercises, soft play, and exploration of colorful and sensory-friendly equipment like foam mats and soft balls. Toddler-friendly games to keep the atmosphere lively and engaging. A platoon-certified instructor brings enthusiasm and expertise to Learning Beyond Academy, ensuring a safe, joyful, and developmentally enriching fitness experience for our young participants. Get ready for a tumbling good time! Gym uniforms are required.

Tiny Yogis is a delightful yoga class specially designed for toddlers aged 1 to 2 years old. This class introduces children to the calming practice of yoga while promoting their flexibility, balance, and coordination in a fun and playful environment.

The class begins with a lively warm-up featuring music and gentle movements to engage those little bodies. The main activities focus on age-appropriate yoga poses, imaginative breathing exercises, and interactive games that encourage exploration and self-expression. Using colorful props like soft mats and gentle cushions, toddlers will enjoy a sensory-rich experience.

Our certified instructor brings warmth and expertise to Learning Beyond Academy, ensuring a safe, joyful, and nurturing yoga adventure for our little participants. 

Our Music and Movement class is a joyful experience. This engaging class introduces little ones to the world of rhythm, sound, and movement through playful activities that stimulate their senses and encourage self-expression. Each session begins with lively songs and interactive music-making, allowing toddlers to explore instruments and participate in sing-alongs. We incorporate age-appropriate movements, encouraging children to dance, hop, and sway to the beat, enhancing their gross motor skills and coordination.

In addition to our amazing outdoor play area, we organize three exciting outdoor trips each year, providing children with unique opportunities to connect with nature and experience the world around them. These excursions are carefully planned to be age-appropriate and safe, allowing our one-year-olds to explore new environments, engage in hands-on learning, and develop their curiosity about the world. Whether it’s a trip to a local park, a nature reserve, or a community event, each outing is filled with fun activities that promote social interaction and physical development.
