Additionally, they will embark on a variety of age-appropriate literacy and numeracy experiences. Join us as we inspire curiosity and foster a love for learning in every child!
At LBA, we adhere to the Experience Early Learning Curriculum, a research-based program that aligns with Pennsylvania early standards and is endorsed by NAEYC. Trusted and cherished by educators for over 30 years, this curriculum offers our teachers the flexibility to customize lessons to meet the unique needs of each child in the classroom. Our daily learning curriculum and activities seamlessly integrate key developmental domains, including social-emotional, physical, cognitive, adaptive, and language skills. This comprehensive approach not only fosters growth but also strengthens foundational knowledge, nurturing holistic development in every child.
Educational Activities are designed to be interactive, engaging, and enjoyable, providing a balance of challenge and fun. These activities not only promote active participation but also inspire children to be fully immersed in the learning process.
Circle time initiates the class session...
During this special time, teachers warmly greet each child by name, introduce the day's theme, and engage in group activities. Circle time plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of comfort among children in their surroundings and with their peers. It serves as a platform for promoting attentiveness, turn-taking, and provides an opportunity for children to practice and enhance their communication and social skills.
In our learning centers, we prioritize hands-on experiences and empower children to make choices that align with their interests and curiosities. Our carefully designed pre~school classroom incorporates a diverse range of age-appropriate learning centers, including art, science, library, dramatic play, manipulatives, and more. These centers offer a plethora of opportunities for children to explore, discover, and engage in meaningful learning experiences.
