Lil Explorers

Young Toddlers

Ages 2 to 3 years old

Older Toddler's

Classroom Experience

In our Two-Year-Old Classroom, our Lil Explorers embark on an exciting journey of discovery and growth. This stage is brimming with wonder, as our young learners eagerly explore the world around them. Our dedicated teachers and staff foster a nurturing and stimulating environment, ensuring that children not only learn but also enjoy their early learning journey.

In our thoughtfully designed classroom, we offer a diverse range of age-appropriate activities and materials tailored to the unique needs and interests of our little explorers. From sensory play to hands-on experiences, we provide opportunities for them to engage their senses, develop fine and gross motor skills, and nurture their natural curiosity.

Language development is a key focus in our two-year-old classroom. We create a language-rich environment where children are immersed in a variety of vocabulary, songs, stories, and meaningful conversations. We encourage verbal expression, support early communication skills, and lay a strong foundation for their future language development.

Curriculum

At LBA, we adhere to the Experience Early Learning Curriculum, a research-based program that aligns with Pennsylvania early standards and is endorsed by NAEYC. Trusted and cherished by educators for over 30 years, this curriculum offers our teachers the flexibility to customize lessons to meet the unique needs of each child in the classroom. Our daily learning curriculum and activities seamlessly integrate key developmental domains, including social, emotional, physical, cognitive, adaptive, and language skills. This comprehensive approach not only fosters growth but also strengthens foundational knowledge, nurturing holistic development in every child.

Educational Activities

Educational Activities are designed to be interactive, engaging, and enjoyable, providing a balance of challenge and fun. These activities not only promote active participation but also inspire children to be fully immersed in the learning process.

Circle Time

Circle time initiates the class session... During this special time, teachers warmly greet each child by name, introduce the day's theme, and engage in group activities. Circle time plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of comfort among children in their surroundings and with their peers. It serves as a platform for promoting attentiveness, turn-taking, and provides an opportunity for children to practice and enhance their communication and social skills

Interactive Centers

In our two-year-old classroom, a variety of engaging centers await, including art, science, dramatic play, library, manipulatives, puzzles and more… Our teachers have meticulously curated an environment rich in learning materials that not only encourage independent exploration but also offer the necessary support for your child to acquire new skills.
